SERVICES | SECURITY & SPECIALTY Consulting Services

Expert Guidance. Operational Experience. Measurable Results.

Effective security is built on sound strategy, trained personnel, and programs that work under real-world pressure. Paladin Defense Group's consulting services bring decades of U.S. Military and Special Operations experience directly to your organization — helping you build, refine, and sustain a security program that performs when it matters most.

Whether you need to develop your security leadership, evaluate your workplace environment, build a physical security program from the ground up, or prepare your personnel for explosive threat scenarios — PDG has the subject matter expertise and the instructors to deliver.

Consulting Service Areas

PDG's consulting practice spans five core disciplines. Each can be engaged independently or integrated as part of a comprehensive organizational security improvement initiative.

  • Leadership & Management Consulting — Building the leadership capability of your security team and administration.
  • Annual Workplace Evaluations (AWE) — Structured evaluation of physical security, compliance, emergency preparedness, and workplace safety culture.
  • Security Development & Operations — Design, build, and enhancement of physical security programs and standard operating procedures tailored to your organization.
  • Counter-IED & UXO Consulting and Training — Specialized support for managing Improvised Explosive Device (IED) and Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) threats, including CBRNE awareness.
  • Role Player Support Services — High-fidelity role player and scenario support for training exercises, evaluations, and force-on-force drills.

A security program's effectiveness is directly tied to the quality of the people leading it. PDG works with your security staff and administrative leadership to develop the skills, decision-making frameworks, and team dynamics required to lead security operations with confidence and consistency.

What PDG Delivers

  • Leadership Development Programs — Customized training curricula designed to build and refine leadership competencies for security directors, supervisors, and administrative staff — modeled on military leadership doctrine proven in high-stakes environments.
  • Instruction by Commissioned Officers & Senior NCOs — All leadership instruction is delivered by former U.S. Military commissioned officers and senior non-commissioned officers with extensive experience leading teams under operational conditions. This is not classroom theory — it is applied leadership.
  • Team Building & Cohesion — Facilitated programs to improve team communication, trust, and coordinated response — the foundation of any effective security unit.
  • Performance & Accountability Frameworks — Structured tools and processes to set clear expectations, measure performance, and build a culture of accountability within your security organization.

2 — Annual Workplace Evaluations (AWE)

PDG's Annual Workplace Evaluation is a security-focused operational review — distinct from a standard HR audit. Conducted by experienced security professionals, an AWE provides organizational leadership with an objective, documented assessment of workplace security posture, compliance alignment, and emergency readiness.

An AWE is recommended annually and whenever a significant change occurs — new facilities, leadership transitions, workforce expansions, or following a security incident.

AWE Evaluation Areas

  • Physical Security & Safety Measures — Identification of vulnerabilities in access control, perimeter security, surveillance, and physical barriers — with prioritized recommendations for improvement.
  • Risk Management & Regulatory Compliance — Evaluation of alignment with applicable safety regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies. Produces documentation suitable for insurance and compliance review.
  • Employee Well-Being & Operational Safety Culture — Assessment of workplace safety culture, security awareness, and the human factors that affect overall security posture — because people are both an asset and a vulnerability.
  • Emergency Preparedness & Crisis Response — Review of emergency action plans, incident response protocols, communication chains, and organizational readiness to respond to active threats or critical incidents.

Each AWE concludes with a written report, prioritized findings, and actionable recommendations your leadership team can implement immediately.

A physical security program is only as strong as its design. PDG works alongside your leadership to build or significantly improve the policies, plans, personnel, and procedures that form the backbone of your security operations — creating a program that is coherent, executable, and built to scale.

Program Development Services

  • Security Program Design & Architecture — Development of a comprehensive physical security program tailored to your organization's size, sector, threat environment, and operational requirements.
  • Policy & Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Development — Creation of clear, actionable security policies and SOPs that your personnel can execute consistently — reducing ambiguity and improving incident response outcomes.
  • Security Personnel Development — Training and professional development for your security staff, equipping them with the skills to handle a full range of security situations effectively.
  • Action Planning & Implementation Support — Detailed action plans aligned to your specific security challenges, with hands-on support during implementation to ensure successful execution.
  • Program Integration & Sustainment — Assistance integrating all components of your security architecture — personnel, technology, policy, and procedures — into a unified, sustainable program.

4 — Counter-IED & UXO Consulting and Training

4 — Counter-IED & UXO Consulting and Training

Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) have been responsible for a significant share of casualties in modern conflict and remain a persistent threat in high-risk operational environments. PDG provides specialized consulting and training to prepare your personnel to recognize, avoid, report, and respond to explosive threats — including Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) encountered in post-conflict or industrial environments.

Counter-IED & UXO Services

  • IED & UXO Threat Training — Comprehensive training on current IED and UXO threat recognition, avoidance, and reporting procedures — developed from real-world operational experience and updated to reflect current threat techniques.
  • CBRNE Awareness Training — Foundational training in recognizing and responding to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) threats, ensuring your team is prepared for complex, multi-hazard scenarios.
  • Clandestine Lab Awareness — Training to recognize indicators of clandestine laboratory operations that may pose additional explosive or chemical hazards to personnel.
  • Custom Advanced Task Development — Specialized training packages and support modules developed to address unique mission requirements upon client request.

5 — Role Player Support Services

Realistic training demands realistic opposition. PDG provides professionally screened and trained role players who bring authenticity, discipline, and scenario-specific expertise to training exercises, operational evaluations, and tactical drills. Our role players are selected through a rigorous vetting process and prepared to meet your specific training objectives — not just fill a seat.

  • Civilians on Scene / Displaced Persons
  • Opposing Forces (OPFOR)
  • Unconventional Warfare Actors (Guerrillas)
  • Government Officials
